GET YOUR FEDERAL MOTORCYCLE MANUFACTURER LICENSE Getting listed in Kelley Blue Book listings helps with financing and insurance for your vehicles. For motorcycle manufacturers wishing to get listed with Kelley Blue Book, here is the information which I received from Kelley Blue Book If you are interested in having your motorcycles listed in the Kelley Blue Book Official Motorcycle Guide: In order to qualify to be listed you must 1) have a your federal motorcycle manufacturer's license to issue VINs and MCOs, To get your USDOT/NHTSA motorcycle-manufacturer license to issue VIN numbers and MCOs, go to www.motorcycle-manufacturer-license.org and... 2) you must have a standard line-up of bikes -- that is, your bikes are not just Òcustom onlyÓ. If these apply to you, what we will need from you is a list of your models, including prices and specifications. You can fill out the attached form or you can submit your own literature. We also need a list of your dealers (just let us know if you sell factory direct), your approximate production numbers for the model year and a VIN decoder -- supplied by motorcycle-manufacturer-license.org Please submit your information to me via email or fax (949-341-0129) ASAP.
